Homeopathy Home Study Course

HealthWorks has created a concise, effective, open learning course, combining the use of homeopathic remedies with First Aid procedures for the treatment of most emergencies. Comprehensive and easy to follow case studies highlight the therapeutic action of the remedies and original colour illustrations help maximise learning potential.

The course is divided into six consecutive units, structured to enable you to develop your knowledge progressively, at your own pace and in the convenience of your own home.

The first unit is devoted to the History and Philosophy of Homeopathy and puts into plain English why and how homeopathy works . It will also introduce you to the main principles of homeopathy including: The Law of Similars, Provings, Law of the Minimum Dose, Potentization, Vital Force, Totality of Symptoms, Miasms and more.

The other five units all discuss two or three remedies in depth. The comprehensive First Aid section is written to complement remedies in that unit and detail in simple terms the practical application of First Aid procedures together with several relevant remedies for specific circumstances.

Questions are set at the end of every unit for you to answer and return for assessment and marking by an experienced homeopathic team.

You will also receive as part of the course package, two invaluable guidebooks – one covering all aspects of coughs, colds, fevers and flu – the other covering common holiday ailments such as travel sickness, jetlag, diarrhoea and much more. Full details of these can be found on our Books Section.

The course is sent out in three modules - as each module is completed, the next will be posted out automatically. However, if you prefer, you can receive the entire course at once - the choice is yours. Support is also offered by phone or email if you need any extra help with the course.

On completion of the course, successful candidates will be awarded a Certificate of Completion (although we emphasise that this does not qualify the student to practise as a professional homeopath, but simply to enable the candidate to use standard remedies safely and effectively within the home).

However if you should decide to study further, this course would provide a firm foundation on which to build your knowledge of this fascinating subject.
